Old Glory Grove is a family-owned, veteran-operated business founded in 2020 by Allen and Joi Chappell. Allen Chappell retired in 2014 as a Green Beret Colonel after more than 30 years of service in the U.S. Army. Following his retirement, he and his wife settled in Liberty, North Carolina, where they purchased their dream home where they can ride horses, go fishing, hunting, and enjoying long walks in the woods with the grandkids.

We specialize in Bloodgood (Acer palmatum) Japaneses Maples. The seedlings are sourced from Herter Nursery, the only nursery authorized to graft the legendary Japanese Maples found at the renowned Biltmore Estate.
